Everyday Account Fees

If you're a frequent traveller, an Everyday Account is perfect for you. It’s a low-cost way to spend less time in traffic and more time on the things that really matter.
 

Type Description
Dishonour fee The amount debited to your account if your payment is unsuccessful. We will pass on the fee charged by your bank.
e-TAG non-return fee

Per e-TAG: $55

The amount payable by you if your e-TAG is lost, damaged, stolen or not returned to us.

Extra e-TAG amount

The amount payable for each additional e-TAG device you link to your account.

Pre-Pay account: $50 per e-TAG credit to your account.

Pay-as-you-Go Account: $20 per e-TAG refundable deposit.

Minimum annual payment

Per e-TAG linked to your account: $27.50

The minimum amount of tolls and charges which you must pay per e-TAG device on your account each year. If you do not reach the minimum amount per e-TAG your account will be debited the difference between this amount and the actual tolls and fees paid. This will be charged per e-TAG that does not reach the minimum annual payment.

Minimum top-up amount

$40 or the difference between your Account Balance and $40, whichever is greater.

Referred to as Agreed Replenishment Amount in the e-TAG Account Customer Service Agreement.

Monthly Account Fee

Per e-TAG linked to your account: $2.75

This fee is debited only to Pay-as-you-Go accounts for the administration of your account per month (payable in advance). 

No tag in vehicle fee

$0.75 per trip CityLink

If you are travelling on EastLink or interstate toll roads fees may differ. 
 

One-Off Statement fee

Per statement: $3.30

Fee charged per one-off statement requested.

Opening amount

Account opening pre-payment.

Pre-paid account: $50 per e-TAG

Pay-as-you-Go account: $22.75 ($2.75 monthly fee plus $20 refundable deposit)

Statement fee

Per statement: $2.75
 

The fee per month or per quarter if you elect to receive a detailed statement via post.

Referred to as Detailed Statement Fee on the Everyday Account Customer Service Agreement.
 

Suspension fee

Per account: $11

Referred to as Re-Registration Fee in the Everyday Account Customer Service Agreement.

Top up trigger

Recommended trigger: $25, or any larger amount as agreed.
 

When you set up Automatic Payments, you can set your top up trigger, we recommend $25. A payment is deducted each time your balance falls below the trigger amount. 

If you have chosen to set up Manual Payments, we recommend that you top up your account when your account balance falls below $25.
 

Voluntary replacement fee

Per e-TAG: $55

If you choose to replace an e-TAG when there is no fault with the e-TAG.
