    How Business accounts differ from regular accounts

    An Everyday or Access account suits the regular user, while a Business account includes advanced features designed to help fleet managers track toll charges. These features make it easy to get itemised financial data and analyse your expenses.

    With a Business account you receive monthly tax invoices and can pay your fees and charges at the end of every month.

    Toll charges are the same whether you have a Business, Everyday or Access Account, but a Business Account has different account admin fees. A Business Account has an annual fee of $71.50. A minimum annual usage of $27.50 of CityLink tolls applies per e-TAG for the first 3 years of the tag's operational life.

    Yes, you can. a Business Account is an easy way for large businesses to manage toll costs for an unlimited number of fleet vehicles.

  • How do I apply for a Business Account?

    How do I apply for a Business Account?

    To apply for a Business Account you need to apply online as well as complete the CityLink Business Account application form. You’ll need to provide us with the following info:

    • an Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN)
    • a business address, telephone number and email address for invoicing
    • the licence plate number, state of registration, make, model and fleet ID (if applicable) of at least one vehicle

    If your business entity is a partnership, sole trader or trust we will need some additional information. This is outlined under Section 2 on the form's checklist page.

    Once complete, email the signed form to applicationforms@transurban.com.au along with your online application reference number.

    You'll also need to agree to a credit check and we may ask for additional financial information to complete the application process.

    What is Transurban Invoice Manager (TIM)?

    Transurban Invoice Manager (TIM) is a free computer program that helps CityLink commercial customers analyse trip data and produce detailed reports and graphs of their toll road usage. It also assists with the calculation of fringe benefit tax obligations.

  • What is the minimum annual payment for the CityLink Everyday and Business Accounts?

    What is the minimum annual payment for the CityLink Everyday and Business Accounts?

    The minimum annual payment (MAP) is a $27.50 annual fee that applies to every individual e-TAG on a CityLink Everyday or Business Account.

    The MAP is applied to an e-TAG every year in the first 3 years after it's linked to your account if it accrues less than $27.50 in annual tolls. If no CityLink tolls are accrued during the year, the full fee will be charged. If an e-TAG has accrued CityLink tolls under $27.50, the difference will be charged.

    Tolls, taxes, and fees from other toll roads do not contribute to the minimum spend.
