2012 Run for the Kids, Sunday April 1
Melbourne's biggest fun run is back for its seventh year, the Herald Sun|CityLink Run for the Kids.
It has become a tradition to run and walk to celebrate courageous stories that sit behind the smiles at the Royal Children's Hospital. Through participating or sponsoring someone that does enter helps the hospital continue its excellent and ground breaking work.
Last year, $1.4 million was raised for the Royal Children's Hospital which funded equipment for the Victorian Paediatric Trauma Service based at the Royal Children's Hospital. This year, with your support, we can raise and contribute more towards the care and treatment of our children.
On Sunday April 1, 2012, be part of the story or create your own. You can compete in the 5.2km short course - taking you around the Yarra River, Alexandra Gardens and Federation Square. Or set yourself the challenge to run the 14.38km long course, run through CityLink's Domain Tunnel and across the Bolte Bridge and be rewarded by a unique experience.
Entries open Monday, 30 January 2012. Entries are limited and have sold out in the past two years.
