Good Company Initiatives
CityLink is working with communities to deliver initiatives that help minimise environmental impacts and to give back to the communities in which CityLink operates. These initiatives include:
2011 Run for the Kids - $1.4M to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal
It was a picturesque day on Sunday April 17, 2011 when 33,000 runners and walkers from all over Melbourne - some joining in from interstate - flooded Central Melbourne with their enthusiasm and colour for the yearly Herald Sun|CityLink Run for the Kids charity event.
This year, an incredible $1,350,000 was raised for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal with Transurban CEO, Chris Lynch, generously donating $50,000 on the day, rounding up the figure to a total of $1,400,000.
CityLink would like to say a HUGE thank you to all runners, walkers, and volunteers for their support. Without your generosity the event would not be what it is today!
