This year marks the fifth year of CityLink’s co-sponsorship of Run for the Kids with Herald Sun.
On Sunday, 14 March 2010, Melbourne will be transformed into a sea of enthusiastic runners and walkers as the City hosts its biggest charity fun run- the annual Herald Sun | CityLink Run for the Kids.
The event raises money for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal. Last year, the charity raised over $1,000,000 in vital funds.
This year, there is a new 14.6km course with three distinct features - taking runners through the CityLink's Domain Tunnel, across the Bolte Bridge, and for the first time, besides the water around Docklands. It is the only time in the year that the CityLink tunnel is opened for foot-traffic!
For the picture-perfect family enjoyment, there is the 5.2km course taking participants around the Yarra River and Botanic Gardens.
Numbers are capped at 30,000 and entries close when this number is reached. Register early for prompt delivery of race packs and to avoid disappointment!
