Melbourne Pass
A Melbourne Pass is ideal if you are visiting Melbourne or need to travel on Melbourne's toll roads for a period of less than 30 days. The Melbourne Pass enables you to travel on EastLink as well.
You can open a Melbourne Pass before, or up to midnight on the second day after your nominated day of travel here on the website, by calling 13 26 29 or visiting the customer centre at 67 Lorimer Street, Dockland.
Once you open your Melbourne Pass any tolls for trips you do on CityLink and/or EastLink will be automatically charged to your designated credit card once the accumulated tolls and fees reach $10.00 or when the Pass expires.
For each trip you make on CityLink and/or EastLink you will be charged the tolls for the sections you travel on plus a vehicle matching fee.
There is a $5.50 start-up fee to open a Melbourne Pass.
Features of a Melbourne Pass:
- No e-TAG required
- Trips will be video tolled (vehicle registration number will be photographed and matched to the nominated vehicle/s)
- Valid for travel on CityLink and Eastlink
- Charged on a per trip basis (no fixed price)
- Valid for a period of up to 30 days (automatically expires after 30 days)
- Can be extended up to an additional 30 days (extensions must be made prior to the expiration of the Melbourne Pass)
- Can be opened up to 48 hours after your first trip on CityLink
- There is no limit to the number of vehicles that can be added to a Melbourne Pass
- All charges billed to the customer's credit card
Please Note: If your vehicle is currently registered on a CityLink Account (Everyday, Commercial or Access), tolls for any travel on CityLink will be charged to this CityLink Account - NOT a Melbourne Pass.
