CityLink is not just about efficient, free-flowing travel on well-designed and well-maintained roads - it’s also about managing your travel efficiently and easily.
Melbourne toll roads
EastLink, Melbourne’s second fully electronic toll road opened on June 29, 2008. With your CityLink account, you can use it to travel on EastLink.
Keep your CityLink e-TAG in its normal position and when you travel on EastLink, the tolls plus any of their fees will be billed directly to your CityLink account.
There are no additional charges from us. There is no need for you to do anything.
Interstate toll roads
You can also use your e-TAG in all vehicles linked to a CityLink Everyday account on all tollways in New South Wales and Queensland. There are no additional charges from us for this convenience.
Just keep your CityLink e-TAG in its normal position and drive through the specially marked electronic tolling lanes. Your e-TAG will be detected and your toll will be billed directly to your CityLink account.
Remember to keep only one electronic toll device in your vehicle so you’re not charged more than once for the same trip. Everyday statements and invoices show you at a glance where and when you’ve travelled, anywhere in Australia.
