Tired of forgetting to top up your account or hearing multiple e-TAG beeps when your account balance is low? Why not register for our SMS services or better still, make use of our automatic payment facility. 

 

Your SMS options

For Everyday manual paying customers, there are now SMS services available:

  • Full SMS service - you will automatically receive a low balance SMS when your account credit falls to $25 or below and you can respond to top up your account. You can also request your account balance at a time convenient to you and send us the 'ok' to top up your account
  • Basic SMS service - send us an SMS requesting your account balance, whenever you want, wherever you are and top up your account by sending us the 'ok'. 


For your account balance, simply key in your account number, followed by a space and enter your PIN - then send this to 0427 272 787. It's that easy! 


Interested? Register online and enjoy non-stop travelling on CityLink. You simply tell us the top up amount of your choice, provide us with your credit card and SMS contact details and we do the rest. Each time you top up via SMS, we will send you a confirmation email. 


SMS - a new and simple way to keep track of your CityLink account, even if you're always on the go! 


Please note:

  • Usual SMS charges apply for messages sent from your mobile phone - please refer to your mobile phone provider.
  • Changes to your SMS registration and opting out of SMS services can only be made online via this website.
  • This service is provided free of charge, when you top up your account by midnight of the second day after receipt of the SMS, otherwise CityLink reserves the right to charge a $0.20 fee for each payment-enabling SMS we send to you. 

 

Your automatic payment option

Paying automatically via your bank account or credit card is the easiest way to keep your account in credit - as soon as your balance falls to $10 or below, your account is topped up by your pre-selected amount.
Existing customers just need to update payment details.
New customers need to select 'pre-pay automatic' when opening your CityLink Everyday account.
