Taxi Account
Opening a Taxi Account
The taxi e-TAG device qualifies the taxi driver for a reduced toll and the right to on-charge that toll to the passenger. Only drivers with a valid taxi driver's accreditation can obtain taxi e-TAG device. To open a taxi driver or owner account you must first visit the CityLink Customer Service Centre and show your taxi driver's accreditation in person.
Every taxi registered with CityLink by the taxi owner requires three stickers (to be placed on the rear side windows and the dashboard) that state the VTD's rules for the passengers who choose to travel on CityLink in a registered taxi.
Registering a Taxi with CityLink
